Day 3 of our trip was Keegan's 4th Birthday!
Can you believe it?!
We headed out early to the Animal Kingdom park where Grandpa and Grandma treated us to a special birthday breakfast with some extra special guests...
...and even though we got soaked getting to breakfast that morning, it was a wonderful meal, full of special memories!
Keegan wasn't sure about the characters at first, but he warmed up to them. Connor never did get really excited about the characters...
...but Grandpa did!
Connor did enjoy his yummy Mickey Mouse waffles and "colored cheerios," though!
After stuffing ourselves, we went to exercise watch the Lion King show (which had some audience participation, as you can see).
The birthday boy's favorite ride of the day was the Kali River Rapids.
He got soaked! (As seen in his official birthday post, too.) Connor got wet, too, so one time was enough for him. Keegan wanted to ride a second time, though, so Daddy donned a poncho and braved the rapids again.
Ready for "A Bug's Life" 3-D show. Like our bug eyes?
We ended the day with a birthday dinner back at the condo.
It was a delicious day!
Day 4 took us yet another park. This one had one of our very favorite rides:
It was an interactive ride where you use a "pull-string gun" to shoot at a series of screens as you go through the ride. The goal of course, is to accumulate the most points.
No surprise, Daddy always had the highest score out of our group.
Before the parade, Grandpa and Grandma found out where the best place was to watch and they staked out seats for us. They really were the BEST seats in the park. The characters came right up to us, including Keegan's FAVORITE cowgirl, Jessie! He got to shake her hand!!!
Hollywood Studios was fun!
