The Happiest Place on Earth - Part 3

On Day 5 we ended up back at the Magic Kingdom.  We were blessed to walk into the Hall of Presidents right before Patriotic Mickey came out for photo ops.  Of all the Mickey Mouse pictures our family could have gotten, this one seems most appropriate for us!
After another fun, full day of play, we ended the evening with a classic: Disney's Electrical Parade.  Even better, while Daddy, Grandma and the boys rode Splash Mountain one more time, Grandpa, Zoë and I staked out prime seating for the event.
We busted out the glow bracelets and necklaces that I brought along, ate dinner and enjoyed the parade.  The floats are different, but the music is still the same music that I remember from my own childhood.
Then, another round or two of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin before heading home for the night.  This, too, was one of everyone's favorite rides and I lost count of how many times we rode it.
 The boys and Zurg.
Day 6 took us to the Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney and Epcot.  We had to pack in a just a few more things before ending our magical vacation.
One more spin around the race track...
 ...some playtime in Frontierland...
...another nap in the ergo and one last ride on the monorail.
Epcot was our final stop on our last evening.  The flower and garden festival had begun during the week, so there were gorgeous blooms and amazing "live" characters all over the park.

And a final thrill for our week long adventure, Alan and Connor saw former NFL player and University of Arizona Wildcat, Tedy Bruschi riding Test Track.  Yes, my husband actually yelled, "Go Cats!," and received a head nod in acknowledgement.  Alan claims it was one of the best parts of the trip.
(That's the back of Tedy's head.  The tall guy in the navy blue.)
All in all, it was an amazing week at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Hi, I'm Jami! said...

You guys look like you had so much fun! What a special birthday for Keegan and they are old enough now that they'll remember it for a long time. The Buzz Lightyear ride gets a lot of use from us when we go too.
