The Happiest Place on Earth - Part 1

(Disclaimer: This is a vacation series, for our own personal memories. Totally boring to most readers, I am sure.)

As soon as we got wind of a possible move, we decided it was time to take the kids to the Happiest Place on Earth - Walt Disney World!  We knew we wanted to go before we left Florida, but had been waiting as long as possible so that the boys were both tall enough to ride most everything.  Connor was tall enough for almost every ride and there was only a handful of rides Keegan had to sit out for.  We planned the trip so Keegan could celebrate his birthday there and Grandpa and Grandma Rohrer jumped a chance to dust off their Mouse ears and join us!

Day 0, we drove to Orlando, picked up G&G at the airport, settled into our condo, then drove to get our tickets and some dinner.
The trip really started off with a bang when we unexpectedly got to enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks while eating dinner outside at the Grand Floridian hotel!

Day 1 we started out at The MAGIC KINGDOM!  Where else would you begin?!

We headed to straight to Fantasyland and rode Dumbo!

Keegan and Daddy met Buzz Lightyear.

Since we were packing in hours of fun every day, ZoĆ« needed naps while we were on the go.  A sweet friend loaned us this ergo carrier and she snuggled up on Daddy each day for a nap or two. (They BOTH loved that!)

Day 2 we started our day at Epcot, or as the boys referred to it, "The Golf Ball."
Here are the boys playing on the Finding Nemo playground.
Incidentally, this photo was taken right before we lost Keegan for the first time in a disney play area.  (Yes, it happened twice during our trip.  Both times he was out of our sight for less than 5 minutes, both times were in a playground area and both times he was already with a Disney employee when we found him.  God is so good to have protected him and I am amazed at how well Disney handles everything!  The heart condition I now have, though...)

Relaxin' with Grandpa, waiting for a 3-D show.

Ready to ride one of Connor's favorite rides, Test Track.

This is the aftermath of riding Test Track.

And this picture was just for Aunt Melanie.  The boys' LOVED Soarin'!  We rode it over and over and ovcr again.  Maybe one of them will take up hang-gliding when they get older.
