Happy "Heart" Day!
The boys had a fun day at school! Daddy helped them make "Monster Mailboxes" for their valentine swap. They each had a pizza party at school, plus Connor's grade had a Sock Hop with ice cream sundaes.
Connor was kind of blue when I got to the sock hop to watch him dance. He asked one of the little girls in his class to be his "Heart" (aka - Valentine) and she told him no. We had no idea that we'd be dealing with heartbreak at such a young age!
His day got much better though because Grandma arrived for a visit and we had friends over for our traditional PINK dinner. This year we had pink pancakes, strawberries, toast with nutella (okay, so that's not pink, but it's GOOD) or strawberry jelly, bacon and salsa eggs.
