15 Months

Present day:

Now that she is past a year, I am not taking monthly chair pictures, but I thought it would be fun to take quarterly ones. Miss Zoë Kate is 15 months old now!

What she's up to:

• She still only has 8 teeth, but she can chomp on most anything. And she does.
• She has an addiction to her pacifier. It's ugly. We've tried to break the habit 3 times, but we are softies after a week or two of NO naps. The boys never got away with such ridiculousness.
• She throws ridiculous tantrums.
• She is a gal of few words still, but signs several things and is able to effectively communicate and follows directions amazingly well.
• She is NOT a sleeper. I keep waiting...and hoping...and praying.
• She is a climber. Have I mentioned that before? She will be our ER kid. She can get into the boys' top bunk. She can climb up into her highchair. She can climb onto the kitchen chairs to get onto the table. And recently she has figured out how to use a chair to reach the answering machine, where she has figured out how to press the "Answer On, Answer Off," button which causes her to squeal with delight. Oh.My.
