Publix Field Trip

Connor's class had another field trip last week. This time we traveled to the local grocery store, Publix, where shopping is a pleasure. ;)

The kids always love an outing. We toured the different parts of the store - saw how they cut fruit in the produce department, pet a lobster from the seafood counter, got cookies in the bakery and even scanned some cans of tuna before getting a balloon and leaving.

Every field trip, the kids have a card, kind of like a bingo card.  It has pictures of different things they will see on the trip and stickers to mark them off.  It makes it more interactive for them.
