Moving Madness, Part 5/Connor Update

God is so good to provide helpers back to back to back! On Monday, Uncle Jim flew in and our focus was able to shift back to the moving checklist. As fast as we cross things off, more things get added to the list. Jim and Alan knocked out several big projects the first night and more gets done every day.

It drives me crazy to live with clutter and disorganization, but we can't wait until the last minute to get it all done. With two toddlers, a growing belly and total exhaustion weighing on us, accomplishing a few things each day is very necessary. We are living in what I would call a disaster zone!

Here are some photos of the chaos that is now the environment in our house:

Fortunately, in just one week, everything will be loaded on to a truck and the Texas "to-do" list will be done. Then the madness can resume in FL as we settle in!

As far as Connor's recovery is concerned, he continues to improve physically each and every day. He's eating more and seems less tired. The medicine routine has become normal and I think he'll definitely be healthy enough to have his picc line removed before we move. Emotionally, he continues to struggle. We tried to go to Bible study on Tuesday, but he had a total melt down about being left in his classroom. Very uncharacteristically, he had to be brought to me and he sat in my lap quietly for about 30 minutes until we made an early departure. Alan just stayed home with him this morning so Keegan and I could attend MOPS. I expect the transition in FL to a new church (trying churches) and Mother's Day Out is going to be very noisy and painful!

Even your so called chaos is neat and orderly and looks better than my house on any given day!! Where is the mess? So relax, Kel, you've clearly got it under control! Some furniture is taken apart... but even that is neat and tidy. I'm sure you'll have your FL house whipped into shape in no time! You are a moving rock star.

Glad you all think so highly of our chaos! It truly is not clean, but the camera doesn't catch the dust, dirt, mystery shmears of goo or cheerios all over the place.

With my mom helping, hopefully our house will be whipped into shape quickly. You know how this unglues me, though!
