Not until my JUNIOR year of college, did I actually have to share a bedroom with someone. (I always had a roommate in college, but my first two years we actually had sleeping porches, so your personal space and your sleeping space were both shared, but not so confined.) I was very blessed with an awesome roommate Junior year, my dear friend Amanda, so the experience was a great one!
Our boys are getting the experience starting NOW. Being toddlers and having to share sleeping/personal/play space is a bit more difficult. I pray they really learn to love one another more, develop more self-control, are more kind and respectful and develop a deeper relationship due to their new close quarters. It's going to be interesting since they have different sleep patterns, Keegan talks himself to sleep and Connor talks in his sleep (which is a whole separate post).
Tonight they officially moved in together. We had to register for a new baby monitor so we could put one in the boys' room, too! We'll see how this goes. As I have said in almost every post lately, we're all so sleep deprived anyhow, why not just get this ball rolling?!
