8 Months Old

Zoë Kate is 8 months old today!

As you can see, she hardly sits still.

And she is quite expressive.

Here's her latest list of accomplishments:

• She's crawling! She crawls backward, scoots backward and has gone forward, but only a couple times.
• She's pulling up! She pulls up to her knees when she gets to a piece of furniture and has pulled up to standing a few times, but her legs aren't quite strong enough to hold her yet.
• If she falls over while sitting up, she can right herself by rolling onto her side or tummy.
• Babbles all the time. "Ba, ba...Ahhhhh...Blub, blah, na."
• Likes most fruits and veggies. She's a big fan of the blueberries we've been picking. She is not a fan of cantaloupe or squash, though.
• Still wakes Mom and Dad up every night. (She's really got them trained. Her brothers never got away with this kind of behavior!)
• Her hair is getting a little bit longer, still crazy and fun and Daddy insists that it's got red in it.
• Her eyes are a piercing blue still and have lightened, so we're pretty sure they're staying this color.
