I think that over the next 8 weeks, I could title multiple posts, "Moving Madness!" Moving, anytime, but especially at the end of the summer, with two toddlers and a huge belly, can cause a person to go crazy! You'd think we'd be pros at it by now, but we're not!
With the economy being as it is, we've been advised by several realtors not to sell our house. That means becoming landlords. (Yikes!) We're not loving the details of it, but we're trusting God to provide. Already, a dear friend from our OCF group who manages his own investment homes, has offered to help us by managing our house for us. He's a wealth of knowledge for us and he is amazing!!! Our house went on the market on Monday and already we have had one call. Nothing came of it, but at least someone was interested. Pray God will provide a great family, soon!
I could write a long list of things that have made me want to go mad these past two weeks, but instead, I am trying to keep in mind Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
So, here's my thankful list, thus far, regarding this move:

So, here's my thankful list, thus far, regarding this move:
- Randy's willingness to manage our home and walk us through the process of becoming landlords
- OCFers in Pensacola who have been kind enough to field our questions about all things FL
- Finding a midwife in FL. She'll support me in doing the "natural" thing, but she partners with an OB and will deliver me in the hospital (in case of an emergency). It's the best of both worlds.
- Knowing Christians in the squadron here who will be moving to FL with us
- Already having the boys registered for Mother's Day Out and Awana at a great church in FL
- We've got our paperwork and a final-out date of Sept. 10th
- Moving together, as a family, no matter what happens with the house here

I love how you are focusing on the praises and being thankful! It's so easy for us to become bogged down with the negative and the things that don't go our way. Keep the faith! We are praying for you.
