MOLDOVA UPDATE: Alan had a good day, today. His day was spent with his translator, Olesya and his national, Christina, out at an apartment building, hanging out in the common areas, meeting people as they passed by. They had the opportunity to share the gospel with 16 different individuals and one of them professed belief in Christ as Lord and Savior! Praise God!!!
Today, the team as a whole shared the Gospel with 192 people and 30 professed belief! In the evenings they have church services where new believers and others who want to know more are invited to come.
Part of Alan's work in Moldova is modeling for and teaching his translator and national, who have hardly ever shared their Faith with others. He said they really blossomed today as the day progressed, and both shared the gospel with some of the people they encountered. Tomorrow will be the same routine, and he said he and another guy from the team are planning on getting a soccer game going with some of the kids in the afternoon.
And he continues to talk about how good the food is...except the buckwheat thingy he ate today...he told me is was pretty good, but that I shouldn't ever add it to my grocery list. Hahaha!
PRAYER REQUESTS for tomorrow: Continued boldness in sharing their Faith, clarity in translation, continued safety, energy in the heat of the day, and for Alan as he prepares to preach at church on Wednesday evening. He just found out he'd be doing this and he's got no clue what God wants him to say.
