As usual, I am waaaaaay behind on blogging life around here. I have several posts in the queue, but taking the time to get them finished, well...
Last month, we enjoyed a visit from Grandma. She came to keep the kids so Alan and I could be a part of Family Life's new marriage conference launch: The Art of Marriage. Our church was one of thousands around the country to host an event and if you have the opportunity to attend one, we highly recommend it!
The kids ate up all their time with her. Connor enjoyed playing Go Fish with Grandma...
...and we went on a few fun outings with her too. The boys had never been to Krispy Kreme before, so we took a trip one day after school. They were delighted to see the fluffy, hot doughnuts floating down the river of scalding hot oil...
...nothing says "YUM," quite like a good doughnut. I once heard that Manna was probably like a Krispy Kreme, except instead of clogging the Israelites arteries and making them fat, it provided all their nutritional needs. Mmmm.
Thanks for visiting, Grandma! We love sharing hugs and kisses with you! We're sorry we shared the stomach flu with you. Next time, we'll try to keep it to ourselves.
