Happy Birthday to Daddy!!!

Today is Alan's birthday and the poor man is celebrating by playing single parent to the wild kiddos and nursemaid to deathly-ill wife. Fortunately, it's a long weekend, so he's able to be home and we will have a fun, belated birthday celebration in 2011.

I am spending the long weekend in bed. I have some horrible virus; hopefully not the flu. But as always, God's timing is perfect. As I said before, Alan is home to care for the kids (and me), and the time in bed has afforded me the opportunity to catch up on blogging and other miscellaneous things on my to-do list.

As we enter the new year:

We have 1,2,THREE kids big enough to eat PB&J sandwiches at the big kids' table.

A part-time penguin in the house.

And another new AF Major.
