The Big FIVE

Connor turned 5 today!
His teachers made him this fun birthday hat to wear all day.
His day began with the traditional pancake birthday breakfast prepared by Daddy and some birthday phone calls.
Then it was off to school for his first field trip. We visited Fire Station #1 where the kids got to climb all over the trucks and even spray the fire hose.

On Monday, since Daddy was off and our cousins are in town, we ditched school and spent a day at the beach, then had a small party with a few of his church friends.
And it took five years, but here he is...eating ICE CREAM!!!
Connor, you are such a delight to us! You are growing and changing daily and it is fun to see how you are maturing! We thank God every day for the opportunity to raise you as our son! You are a gift! Happy 5th Birthday!

I guess I missed Connor's bday because there is NO FREAKING WAY he can be 5 already!!! Maybe I was in denial!! Oh my goodness. I still remember him a baby in my living room in Minot. Hope he had a great day! Love you all!
