A friend of mine posted this today, so I am copying her. In honor of Labor Day, I am celebrating my labors! In total, I have labored 36 hours and delivered 26 pounds of beautiful, mini-Alan babies.
Connor takes the cake on longest labor. I was admitted to the hospital, in labor, at 5pm. He was born the next day at 4pm. He was very happy to stay in Mommy's tummy. He was also my only "drugged labor" which I think contributed a lot to the length...those evil epidurals. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 11.5 ounces.
Keegan is the winner of the shortest labor award. He was also my first, all-natural, drug-free delivery. My water broke at 8am and he arrived at 11:30am. If it hadn't been so quick, I may have caved and asked for drugs, so that was God's gift to me! He weighed in at 8 lbs. 14 ounces.
Zoƫ Kate was in the middle, time-wise. I woke up in labor at 2am and she was born at 11:30am. She was also an all natural, drug-free delivery. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz.
So how about you? What are your labor stats?

Never any labor...not for lack of trying...my body just said "no"...so all 5 were c-sections! Fabulous...Bailey was the longest with getting to hospital at 6am, on pitocin, and delivered her at 2:36pm. The rest were done within an hour or two of getting to hospital! You are one brave, strong gal!!!!
Such a cute post! Okay so my first labor was 16 months long with delays, paperwork, notarizations, travels to a foreign country complete with parasite.....and two beautiful sons from Ethiopia that were 14 mo, and 22 months old! :) Second labor was a breeze :) compared to the first. Had contractions on and off all day, finally started paying attention and counting around 9:30 pm, went to the hospital at 4 AM and Gracie weighed in at 8 lbs even 8:36 AM, drug free au natural labor. Amen to no epidurals! Praying labor #3 will go as smooth!
