Last Day of MDO

First Day of MDO, September 2009
Last Day of MDO, August 2010
Yesterday was the boys' last day of Mother's Day Out. It was truly a blessing to have a year of Tuesday mornings to shop with only one kid. It's been a nice break and the boys enjoyed "school."

Today we went to their new school. I had to sign the contract for Connor's Pre-Kindergarten enrollment. Honestly, it felt awful - the reality that we have a kid old enough to go to semi-real school, committing to his attendance, plus putting all his personal info down on paper and signing a contract with the government - ick!

VPK is a state-funded program, so we jumped at the chance to put Connor into a top-rated private, Christian school for FREE. But now...
Maybe this Mama just needs to get over her drama, or maybe this year of driving the kids to private school will be God's way of really showing us whether or not we need to homeschool when really-REAL school starts.
