Summer is wrapping up. Most schools are back in session. I dare say, the temps are cooling...maybe a degree or two. I can feel the end of summer.
Fall activities are ramping up. We have been feeling called to coordinate Men's and Women's Bible studies at our church and they are about to begin. The same day they start, the boys start school and MOPS starts back up! AWANA starts the night after that. There was talk of soccer, but I think we have quite enough on our plates!
Here are a few photos from August:
Good friends from Texas were down the coast from us on vacation, so we met up for dinner one night.
The 3 little boys.
The 3 Big Boys.
The Mommies.
Alan's farewell sword from the 479th OSS. He moved to the 479th FTG this summer.
Staying cool when the A/C was out for 2 days.
Just a cute photo.
The face of delight.
The face of satisfaction.
Keegan has been working on staying dry all day and night in order to earn a Mr. Potato Head. Last night was the final night on his chart, so when Daddy got him up this morning and he was dry, Daddy promptly took him to the store to buy Mr. Potato and some donuts to celebrate. The only toy he played with all day was Mr. Potato! And we're very proud of what a big boy he has become!
It's been a good Summer. Bring on the Fall!
