More than 80 hours of driving and over 5000 miles...just a couple of the big reasons there haven't been many blog posts lately. Yes, we drove from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean...and back!
If we didn't call you as we passed through your part of the country, we apologize, but time was very limited and we were packing in as much time with family as possible. We were blessed to spend a few days with 4 great-grandparents who are nonagenarians and octogenarians. It'd been 3 years since we travelled to the west coast as a family!
Here are the highlights in photos:
Stop #1 - San Antonio, TX
We couldn't stop without seeing friends and eating a little Rudy's!
When we moved from TX, all of us had big bellies; Now we have big babies!
Stop #2 - Tucson, AZ
Stop #3 - Los Angeles, CA
Our dear friends who currently live in Korea were stateside for a brief time, so we jumped at the opportunity to see them!
Zoƫ Kate is their Goddaughter, so it was special having her meet her Auntie Kellie and Uncle Dan.
Stop #4 - Phoenix, AZ
The highlight of which, was seeing our nieces and nephew get baptized. Miss G is our Goddaughter and it was more than a delight to be there in person to witness her profession of faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior!
A great BIG thank you to all our amazing families. Though we spent more days driving than we spent in any one place, it was worth having the chance to see you all!

Just catching up on your blog! I love that picture of all the kids on the patio - I don't remember seeing it. I still can't believe you did all that driving. Thank you for coming to see us! We are so glad to have met little Zoe Kate. Love you all!
