Some people have been asking why I haven't been blogging lately, or why I haven't taken pictures and posted them. Life is a little crazy around here, and I am not complaining, life is good, just crazy!
Let me bullet point my day for you:
- 1am, fed baby
- 3am, fed baby
- 6am, fed baby; potty boys who were awake and sent them to their quiet play spots
- Between 6 and Noon is foggy, but I did get some more sleep since Alan went to work late so I could sleep while he fed the boys breakfast
- 8:42am, Alan headed to work; I tasked the boys with cleaning the playroom and their room
- 9am, fed baby
- 10am, held fussy baby, vacuumed, cleaned kitchen, did laundry
- 11am, fed baby; fell asleep feeding baby; boys played quietly letting mommy sleep...so sweet
- 12pm, awoken to be told by 2 year old that he'd wet his pants (and the chair, tile and carpet in the playroom) and informed by 4 year old that he'd pooped his pants...not so sweet
- 12:30pm, fed boys lunch
- 1:15pm, put boys down for naps, cleaned more, fed baby several more times, crashed
- 4pm, boys up and running
- 5pm, fed baby, loaded up kids for trip to Target to get key ingredient for dinner
- 6:30pm, home from Target, started dinner...late dinner
- 6:45pm, Alan got home from work and dealt with poop and disobedience issues, all while holding screaming baby; I made dinner
- 7pm, (kids normal bedtime) fed boys, fed baby
- 7:40pm, Alan put boys to bed, I was still feeding baby
- 8pm - 10pm, ate dinner, made dinner for tomorrow night's OCF party, watched TV with Alan, fed baby
- 10pm, went to start bath for Zoë, stepped in water on floor, assumed fridge was leaking
- 10:05pm, discovered that fridge was fine, but ALL the water in the washing machine had leaked out; began drying kitchen, pantry, dining room, foyer, laundry room tile floors
- 10:15pm, discovered that carpet in living room, hall and Zoë's room was wet cause water goes under walls
- 10:25pm, Alan headed to Walmart to get help, I fed baby
- 11pm, Alan home from Walmart with no help
- 11:30pm, I'm blogging, Alan's tracking down other options; NEED SLEEP and dry floors
Just tidbits of daily life here...minus all the discipline sessions and diaper changes.
Disclaimer: All times are approximate and to be perfectly honest, the whole day is actually pretty foggy, not just the 6 - Noon block.

Oh my girl! I was going to email you and see what life was like with 3 kids....but now I know! And am really scared! :) You are a trooper! Hang in there!
Bless your heart...that's quite a day! The beauty is that it can only go up from there. Hopefully the fog lifts soon!
I have not been wondering why you're not blogging!! And that was a pretty coherent post, so way to go. Praying for more sleep and less poop. :)
Oh Kelly, I wish I could come over and somehow help. (Which makes me laugh thinking of my 8 months pregnant self and four little kids could help do anything!) Your day is a reminder to get things done before our baby girl gets here, when my days will look like yours once again! Love you & think of you often!
