Running Lady

There haven't been any new photos to post lately. We "pictured-out" after Christmas, I guess. This week promises to have some fun field trips, so we'll try and get a photo or two from those.

Basically, we've been living it up with Alan having only "light" duty in the office last week. We holed up in the house and enjoyed family time and friends who came over to play games, which is our favorite pastime.

I am on an exercise kick...a kick which I am hopeful will turn into a habit and a way of life. It wasn't intended to be a New Year's Resolution, it just happened that I cleaned out my closet last week and had a bit of a breakdown over my bearing two children in two years, the youngest of which is now almost two! It's time to say, "Bye, bye baby weight!" It melted off immediately after Connor, but Keegan's has stuck...really stuck!

The treadmill and I are now good buddies and I am giving it attention for at least 20 minutes each day. Today I added sit-ups with a toddler on my tummy and stretches with a toddler on my back. We're all getting into it!

I just started an exercise kick, to, but I joined the local gym a week before Christmas. The thought of Matt's reaction if I was spending money on a gym membership and not using it is great motivation to actually go! That and the hour of alone time I get with the boys in the childcare there. :-)

I so feel your pain. Ki-Ki's four now, and I have had one issue after another that got in the way of losing weight. I got a Wii Fit for Christmas, and I've given it quite a bit of attention. Here's to us and no more baby fat!! :-)

Way to go! Does this mean you are going to run the relay marathon this year??

I am jealous! You are going to love the treadmill! I miss it so much since I was put on a workout restriction after Josh and I ran the half marathon. Which is funny because I could have poked my eyes out some nights I hated going to the gym so much. I am very proud of you for making that healthy decision though. You are a cutie no matter what, but I will certainly be pulling for you!!

Just getting caught up over here...if you lived closer, we could be running buddies!
