Happy 3rd Birthday, Connor!

Connor turned THREE today! Where does the time go?! He is becoming a little man and is such a delight to us! Our "little miracle baby" is no longer a baby at all...
We've tried to start several birthday traditions. The day does not include getting spoiled rotten with lots of presents, but it includes little extra things to let the boys know that we love them and we count them as special blessings from the Lord. It's a day to emphasize how God handmade each one of them and delights in them!

Connor woke up this morning to a room with streamers and balloons, then came down stairs to find the breakfast table all decorated, too. There was a new Curious George book out about pancakes, since his birthday breakfast was going to be pancakes.
Daddy made pancakes and bacon (a favorite feast) and we sung happy birthday and celebrated with a "cake" of pancakes.
The afternoon was spent playing trains with Daddy and Keegan.
We ended the day with our tradition of painting a picture, making hand and footprints and marking Connor's height on the wall in his room. (He's almost 38 inches tall!)

Connor, you are such a blessing and delight to us. We prayed and prayed for you and it is unbelieveable to think back to your birth day three years ago. Each day we marvel at your growth and development. You love Veggie Tales, 3-2-1 Penguins, trains, cars and Curious George. You are becoming quite a vocalist and we laugh each week at OCF when you break out in song so loudly, it interrupts our study downstairs. It delights our hearts to hear you sing the B-I-B-L-E and other songs to the Lord. Your prayers of thankfulness and prayers for forgiveness melt our hearts. You know all the letters in the alphabet and their sounds, you are learning to count above ten and you are finally jumping up and down. You have boundless energy, you delight in socializing with friends and you love to have Keegan right by your side all the time. Thank you for your big smile and hearty laugh. We love you!
