Connor's Big Boy Bed

Alas, our little boy is growing up by leaps and bounds. Last night he pulled back the covers on his big boy bed and climbed in for our nightly ritual of Bible stories, books, songs and prayer time. The activities were routine, but the climbing under the covers was new.
He looked at me and said, "Mommy, I want to sleep here." (GULP!)
Alan and I talked about it, then we laid out the rules and said, "Good Night." He actually stayed in bed! This morning when he woke up, he called out for us and did not climb out of bed! WooHoo!!!!!
Now, I have no idea if this will continue to go well or not, but it was a good start. I have yet to decide what we're going to do about nap time. The cage...er, CRIB, was what made naptimes sustainable. I could use some prayers around 1pm today!

I so understand your feelings about the cage!!! LOL!!! Oh, I dreaded putting the kids in their big kid beds, because of nap-time, especially Caitlyn (she's never been a good napper). But, it all worked out. I hope it all goes just as well for you! :-)
