Little man is 14 months old and has been cruising since 2007, but he's been too timid to take more than one or two steps at a time. As soon as he'd realize he wasn't holding on to something or someone, he'd sit down and crawl. Tonight, though, I ran to the commissary (without the children!) and when I walked in the door, he took several steps towards me! WooHoo!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Despite what many people think, having mobile, independent children is simply fabulous. When the boys started crawling, I'd get comments from people like, "Oh NO, now they'll be walking before you know it." I'd always say, "Yeah, I hope so!" Crawling, though necessary for development, is dirty and yucky. At least now, the only thing on the ground are his feet!

Yea Keegan!!!
Awesome! I just have to add that another bonus of them walking is you don't have to carry them everywhere anymore! Less back aches = happier mom!
Congratulations Keegan! Can you teach Zack? He is almost there, but he'd love to watch you and copy you.
That's awesome! Congratulations Keegan!!
