This is going to be a recurring post, as Connor will without a doubt continue to spout off sayings that either drive us crazy, make us laugh or both. The same goes for his actions.
Seeing the world through the eyes of a 2 year old...The photo can speak for itself!
"Gees!" is the exclamation heard out of Mama's mouth when something unexpected or undesired happens...it's now the phrase used by Connor, too.
He has recently created a fake cry when he wants attention, especially if Keegan is crying in our arms. A little bit of jealousy is starting to show.
In spite of his new distress act, Keegan is easily his favorite person. Each morning he literally shouts, "Keegy!" when he first sees him. He has an exuberant joy for his little brother.
Delighting our hearts, "Biseal," meaning "Bible," is the first thing he asks for each morning when he rises...the prayer is that this one sticks!
And speaking of prayers, his heart showed a little bit of softening the other day when after a discipline session, he folded his hands and bowed his head to ask Jesus' forgiveness! Oh, be still our hearts! What Joy!
In the world of Connor, there are some absolutes:
All men in flight suits are called "Daddy."
All yellow Jeeps belong to Daddy.
All dark blue Honda Odysseys belong to "Ku and Nayna."
All round red foods are "maytoes."
All cartoons are "Jeggies."
All things toasting in the toaster are assumed to be bagels.
All things cooking in the microwave are assumed to be bacon.
All green reptile/amphibian looking creatures are F%#@s.
