Many moons ago, some very thoughtful friends created this blog for our family. Now, we are trying to figure out how this works in an effort to join the 21st century and stay in touch with our vast extended family that stretches around the globe.
We have left the frigid North and are thawing out in the South central United States. Moving with two small children has been interesting. It has meant that there are STILL boxes shoved into closets so that we at least appear to have it all together. (We really don't.) Life just goes on...
Believe it or not, Alan was the first to establish a social life here in SA. He's busy at work and he jumped right into a men's Bible study at church. Do note the answered prayer mentioned there - we have found a church home! Praise God! We have become a part of the fellowship at Northeast Bible Church, an EFCA church.
Finally last week, the kiddos and Kel jumped into their regular Fall schedule; Kel started Beth Moore's Daniel study and also MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). The kids have fun playing in the church nursery and Mama gets to enjoy fellowship. We're also trying to organize a playgroup to make some new friends.
